Research based on the technology available 3D grader with laser cutting machine

Laser cutting

Laser cutting is a technique used to cut sheet metal parts characterized in that the energy source is a laser that concentrates light on the work surface.
The two most common types of industrial laser is carbon dioxide (CO2) and yttrium aluminum garnet doped with neodymium (Nd: YAG). A CO2 laser uses a gaseous medium to produce laser action while the Nd: YAG uses a crystalline material. The CO2 laser is commercially available in powers up to 6 kW and Nd: YAG systems are available in up to 6kW.
If done with mechanized equipment, laser cuts provide highly reproducible results with narrow widths of slots, minimal heat affected zones and virtually no distortion. The process is flexible, easy to automate and provides high cutting speeds with good quality, since the laser is able to operate very complex cutting profiles and with very small radii of curvature. Moreover, it is a clean technology, it does not pollute or use chemicals. Equipment costs are high but are decreasing as the technology is less expensive resonators.
3D printing is a group of manufacturing technologies by addition where a three dimensional object is created by superimposing successive layers of material. Las 3D printers are generally faster, cheaper and easier to use than other manufacturing technologies addition, although like any industrial process, shall be subject to a compromise between their purchase price and tolerance in measurements of the objects produced. 3D printers offer product developers the ability to print parts and assemblies made of different materials with different physical and mechanical properties, often with a simple assembly process. Advanced 3D printing technologies, may even offer models that can serve as product prototypes.

Since 2003 there has been strong growth in the sale of 3D printers. Conversely, the cost thereof is reduced. This technology also finds use in fields such as jewelry, footwear, industrial design, architecture, engineering and construction, automotive and aerospace, medical industries, education, geographic information systems, civil engineering and many others.
